Captain America Outfit Revealed, It’s Cooler Than We Thought It Would Be

When I heard so very long ago that a Captain America movie was on the horizon my first thought was “oh dear god don’t let them destroy the outfit” after all the red, white and blue coloring is a symbol of what Captain America stands for. I’m happy to announce that a mock-up of the outfit has been spotted (pictured above) and it’s not hideous.

It may be the one time I actually like the remake of the outfit more than the original. AICN broke the mock-up of the costume which features a combat sensible design and keeps true to the original shield design from the comic book, a smart move considering the shield was the most “real world ready” aspect of the original design.

Mostly though I’m pleased the stupid ear wings from the comic book are gone, I always expected Captain America to flap his ears dumbo style and fly away and it would have translated awfully to the big screen.
