Second Life inhabitants running Mac OSX are being cautioned that the latest version of Apple’s Leopard operating system breaks compatibility with the virtual world title.

Unlike previous releases of Leopard, version 10.5.2 causes all Second Life viewers to fail just before the game begins rendering.

This news comes on the heels of reports that certain videos designed for Apple’s QuickTime player inserted into the game can be exploited to allow hackers access to player’s virtual bank accounts. Thankfully, this particular exploit has since been patched by Apple.
